My name is Vanessa and I am the owner, designer, and creator of Tails Me About it.  I have always had a strong passion for animals for as long as I can remember.  For many years I’ve worked in several animal hospitals as their caretaker, vet tech, and friend.  I eventually made a tough decision to leave the animal field and entered the corporate world. During that time, I truly realized how much I love animals and how much I wanted to work with them again.  My main inspiration for starting this company came from my love of animals and an artistic talent for creating original clothing and collars for dogs.  During the past several years, my own family has grown to include 4 adorable cats, 3 amazing Italian greyhounds, and 2 fish tanks.  Having sight hounds, I quickly realized that finding original clothing or collars that fit properly on them was not going to be easy.  I was tired of the same old designs that you see in every pet store so I decided to get to work on fitting my dogs with my own handmade clothing and collars.  After receiving quite a bit of positive feedback from other dog owners, friends, and family, I decided on creating Tails Me About it to share my collars with you.
